The White House Nursery and Preschool staff are dedicated and passionate early years practitioners. We pride ourselves on creating an environment for children which is safe, stimulating and secure with a homely feel. The children’s safety, development and wellbeing are of the utmost importance to all staff at the White House Nursery and Preschool.
Before joining our setting, we carry out an extensive vetting procedure which includes a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
The staff at the White House Nursery and Preschool hold relevant childcare qualifications and attend regular training. The staff have a range of qualifications from Qualified Teacher Status to Montessori, this helps staff to draw on different experiences to provide your child with a broad range of activities to encourage their development.
We use a key person system which helps support children to settle and feel comfortable and confident at nursery. Staff will support your child during settling in sessions and also use this time to get to know your child’s interests and needs. Our ‘open door’ policy enables you to talk to your child’s key person on a regular basis and develop a strong partnership to best support your child.
We use a secure online system where you can see the activities your child has enjoyed as well as their daily care diary detailing what they have eaten during the day, nappy changes etcetera.
